Soft-set honey is a real favourite but often hard to track down. It is made from spring honey which has been slowly churned so that its natural sugars crystalise to form a silky smooth texture. It used to be called creamed honey and this still describes it really well.
Nothing is added (no cream!) or taken away but the simple act of churning gives a creamy, spreadable honey that is thicker than our drizzling honey. Fans seek it out for its luxurious mouth-feel.
Harry's Soft Set Cotswold Honey - 260g
Like all our honey, Harry's local soft-set comes from beehives around Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. We handle it gently. It is extracted without using any heat and then just lightly strained. We bottle it by hand in small batches.
As with all honey, it's not suitable for children under 12 months of age.
